Yadkin Arts Council opening reception for the newest exhibit, Owens Daniels: More Than Just a Picture (Welborn Gallery) & Sandra Wimbish: Stripes, Spots, and Such – a celebration of the animal kingdom (Red Wall Gallery) at the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center.  The opening reception will held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  This exhibition consists of two unique bodies of work, a Two Color series of acrylic canvases, and a selection of  pen and ink animal pieces. Owens Daniels: More Than Just a Picture  will be on exhibit from January 4 – February 23.  Sandra Wimbish: Stripes, Spots, and Such – a celebration of the animal kingdom will be on exhibit from January 4 – February 16.  Info: Yadkin Arts (336) 679-2941.
